In 2024, Ukrnafta drilled ten new wells and spudded an additional twelve, totalling 32 thousand metres.

In 2024, Ukrnafta drilled 32,000 metres, 280% more than in 2023.

With flow rates above expectations, ten new wells are successful. In 4Q’2024, work on 12 more wells began, and they are currently at various phases of development.
Director Sergii Koretskyi stated, "Ukrnafta has started an ambitious drilling and intensification program at one of the company's green fields - we are using in-house rigs in difficult mountain conditions. I am grateful to all my colleagues in production, oilfield services, exploration and development."

A total of 30 new wells are planned for 2025.

Also in 2024, Ukrnafta:

- Acquired the first special permit at an auction.

- Achieved 91% reserve replacement ratio. 1.5 thousand tons of oil and 689 million cubic meters of gas make up 2.2 million tons in oil equivalent. It was 64% in 2023. Before it, the average replacement ratio was barely 15% over the past five years.

- Acquired 3D seismic covering 600 square kilometres at 8 fields. In 2025, another 800 square kilometres are planned.

- Drilled a 4,520-metre well, the deepest well in Ukrnafta over the last 8 years.

- Performed 340 production intensification operations yielding 121 thousand tons of oil and 111 million cubic meters of gas in incremental production.

- Performed 69 hydraulic fracturing operations. The company’s accumulated incremental production is 66 thousand tons of oil and 13 million cubic meters of gas. The rate of hydraulic fracturing success is 89%, and the average production rate growth is 9 tons per day. 11 fracs were performed in 2023, and an average of 6 operations over the past 5 years. In 2025, 70 hydraulic fracturing operations are planned.

- The company completed three flow-deviation operations, all successful. They yielded an incremental 4.7 thousand tons of oil.
