UKRNAFTA is steadily expanding its own fleet of fuel tankers to improve the reliability of fuel supplies across the country.

The company is investing in the acquisition of 100 modern fuel tankers. Of these, 33 will be acquired through financial leasing and a further 67 using the company’s own funds.

The first five new branded vehicles will take to Ukrainian roads in the near future.

“In the current environment, an energy company’s resilience depends not only on having the necessary resources, but also on its ability to deliver them promptly to where they are needed,” said Bogdan Kukura, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “Ukrnafta”. “Developing our own logistics capabilities is a strategic investment in the company’s resilience. It means faster response times, less dependence on external contractors, more efficient cost management and more reliable fuel supplies for our customers.”

Today, around 400 fuel tankers serve the UKRNAFTA network of more than 660 gas stations. However, the company’s own vehicles currently meet only around 10% of its requirements, with logistics partners covering the remainder.
