A terrible tragedy has struck the entire UKRNAFTA team: people have been killed and injured in a deliberate and cynical Russian jet-powered drone strike on a gas station located far behind the front line.
The enemy attacked the gas station in the Shyroke community of Kryvyi Rih district, Dnipropetrovsk region. Tragically, three people—a man, an eight-year-old boy and our colleague, gas station operator Tetiana Mykolaivna Volkova—were killed at the scene. We extend our sincere condolences to their families and loved ones.
Six injured people, including a gas station employee, who were on the premises at the time of the attack were promptly taken to hospital, where they are receiving medical care.
The company is providing all necessary support, both organisational and financial.
The enemy continues to systematically target civilian infrastructure that supports the daily lives of ordinary people.
In total, Russian attacks destroyed more than 30 UKRNAFTA gas stations during the first seven months of 2026. Given the critical need to ensure uninterrupted fuel supplies to frontline communities for emergency services and civilians, operations have been successfully restored at some of these gas stations.
