Our Colleague Taras Kohut Has Been Brought Home for His Final Farewell
Our colleague Taras Kohut, a maintenance fitter at the steam and water supply section, has been brought home for his final farewell.

Taras was born on 13 October 1984 and lived in Dolyna, Ivano-Frankivsk region.

He joined the UKRNAFTA team in 2017 as a maintenance fitter at the steam and water supply section.

From the first days of the full-scale invasion, Taras decided to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine and defend his country. He served as a senior gunner in a mortar platoon of the 58th Separate Motorised Infantry Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi.

On 28 July 2026, Senior Soldier Taras Kohut was seriously wounded in Kharkiv region. Doctors fought to save his life until the very end, but on 4 August his heart stopped beating.

We extend our sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.

Eternal honour and cherished memory to the Hero.
