The Security Service of PJSC “Ukrnafta” discovered an illegal gas extraction at one of the company's fields in Ivano-Frankivsk region. The unauthorized tie-in was made to the oil and gas pipeline from the well to the field comb.
 
This fact was reported to the National Police. Along with them, it was found that the tie-in was made into a high-pressure metal pipe, in which a ball valve with a 25 mm metal tube connected to a 114 mm diameter pipe is mounted. The second pipe leads to residential buildings.
 
After the crime was recorded by officers of the Nadvirna National Police Department in Ivano-Frankivsk Region, the tie-in was removed.
The amount of damage is currently being established and the National Police is working with the company to identify the persons who made the illegal tie-in.
