UKRNAFTA's Kyiv gas stations have again come under Russian attack — the fifth such strike in a short period. Today's attack hit gas stations on both the left and right banks of the capital.

The stations were not operating at the time, having been shut down as an air raid alert was in effect. Staff had taken shelter, and no customers were on site.

"People’s safety remains our top priority. We deliberately suspend gas station operations during air raid alerts to minimise risk to our staff and customers. These latest attacks only underline why that precaution is necessary," stressed Bogdan Kukura, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “Ukrnafta”. "This is civilian infrastructure that thousands of people rely on every day."

The damage is currently being assessed, after which the scope of the necessary repair works will be determined.
