On the occasion of the Oil, Gas, and Oil Refining Industry Workers' Day, the Naftogaz Group honored 15 employees of Ukrnafta for outstanding work achievements, high professional skills, and outstanding personal work performance. Two of our colleagues received Certificates of Honor, while another 13 were awarded Letters of Commendation from the Acting Chairman of the Management Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.
Behind each of these awards lies specific work and a concrete result: well drilling and commissioning, equipment repair and restoration, protection of production facilities, and stable operation of technological processes. Each recognition carries a personal name, yet behind it always stands the collective work of the large Ukrnafta team.
Among those awarded:
Andrii Babych — motor vehicle driver. Transports materials for the construction of protective structures at filling stations in front-line areas and participates in mitigating the consequences of russian attacks at Ukrnafta facilities.
Ivan Blium — derrick builder. Has been working in the industry for over 25 years and possesses significant practical experience in the construction, rig-up, and rig-down of drilling rigs. Has been repeatedly involved in the most critical stages of work where precision, safety, and coordination of actions are vital.
Mykola Beriukh — well cementing pump operator. Has been working at the company since 2004, performing well cementing, cement plug setting, and the maintenance and repair of specialized equipment. Participated in emergency recovery works at the Kachanivka Gas Processing Plant following russian attacks.
Roman Dolynskyi — drilling supervisor engineer of the Drilling Operational Control Department. Supervises compliance with drilling technology and occupational and industrial safety requirements during well construction. Ensures high-quality work execution and the achievement of planned production targets.
Anatoliy Karpov — process plant operator. During a massive UAV attack, he promptly responded to the emergency and provided the management with accurate information regarding the facility's condition, which was essential for mitigating the consequences of the strike.
Yurii Marych — electric and gas welder. Performs welding of pipelines of various categories and conducts well piping installation. Worked directly on metal structures for the deployment of critical infrastructure protection.
Maksym Niukhin — drilling supervisor engineer of the Drilling Operational Control Department. Monitors well construction and contractor performance directly at the facilities, selects optimal drilling parameters in accordance with geological conditions, and works to prevent emergency situations.
Roman Parakhoniak — drilling supervisor engineer of the Drilling Operational Control Department. Possesses many years of experience in drilling and technical support of operations. Ensures efficient organization of the drilling process, control over compliance with industrial safety requirements, and accident-free execution of operations within the established timeframes.
Oleksandr Pedchenko — engineer, capital construction group. Under wartime conditions, he provides technical supervision and support for strategically important protection assets and the restoration of critical infrastructure at the fields.
Volodymyr Seniushkovych — drilling supervisor engineer of the Drilling Operational Control Department. Possesses extensive hands-on experience in well drilling and testing. Ensures proper technological control during drilling operations, efficient use of material and technical resources, and the fulfillment of production targets.
Mykola Tsavolyk — corrosion control laboratory engineer. Works on the development of the corrosion protection system for pipelines and process equipment. His work contributes to the reliable and safe operation of production equipment.
Yaroslav Chubar — lead engineer of the Integrated Well Stock Management Department. In 2026, he formulated 15 proposals regarding well stock operations, specifically concerning well interventions, hydraulic fracturing, and hydrodynamic testing. He also monitors the well stock and prepares technical solutions to maintain and increase production.
Mykola Shevchenko — foreman of the oil and gas treatment and pumping shop. He provided practical proposals to improve the technological process, some of which helped accelerate the recovery of facilities following enemy shelling.
Roman Yakymchuk — mechanical engineer of the technical services branch. Possesses 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Ensures the safe and uninterrupted operation of mechanical and oilfield equipment, and organizes its maintenance and repair. Implements technical solutions that help improve equipment reliability and mitigate the risks of emergency situations.
Andrii Yakubets — manual arc welder, equipment operations and rolling repair shop. Performs welding of pipelines, wellhead equipment, and steel structures. Actively participated in the fabrication of steel structures for the physical protection of critical infrastructure facilities.
