PJSC “Ukrnafta” continues its transformation: the company is implementing ESG practices in its operations. 

The initiative is supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through the Energy Security Project (ESP). 

PJSC “Ukrnafta” has initiated the development and comprehensive implementation of environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles in the business processes of the company. 

“We plan to calculate greenhouse gas emissions, identify ways to reduce the environmental impact of the Company's operations and start preparing systematic reporting on sustainable development in accordance with international standards”, said Sergii Koretskyi, CEO at UKRNAFTA. – “The next step will be to develop a green transition strategy and implement decarbonization projects”. 

Energy transformation is a natural path for PJSC “Ukrnafta”. The course towards decarbonization is a necessity and a response to modern market and society requirements, in line with the European integration course of Ukraine.
