Ukrnafta is implementing intelligent control of SRPUs  powered by Weatherford ForeSite software.  

“Today, our SRPU-equipped well stock totals 580 units. Of these, 72 are already operating under intelligent control, and 62 more are being connected to the Weatherford ForeSite system. Going forward, we plan to implement these solutions across an additional 40–60 wells each year,” said Bogdan Kukura, Chairman of the Board of JSC Ukrnafta. — “Digital technologies are no longer a standalone development track — they are one of the key tools for driving production efficiency. Solutions like these allow us to simultaneously boost operational performance, reduce costs, and improve equipment reliability.” 

The system analyzes well performance, pump equipment condition, and fluid inflow in real time, then automatically selects the optimal operating mode. This ensures maximum production efficiency without overloading the equipment. 

For the company, this goes beyond process automation — it delivers tangible, practical results:

• the same or even higher production volumes; • lower electricity consumption per tonne of fluid produced;

• longer equipment run life between overhauls; • fewer maintenance crew callouts;

• lower lifting costs.
