Svitlana Vandzhura is a native of Nadvirna. In 1997, she graduated from the Drohobych Petroleum Technical College, where she majored in geology.
She began her journey with the company at the age of 19 as an operator of the dehydration unit. This provided her with a firsthand look at production processes, moving beyond textbooks into real-world operations. Later, while pursuing her degree through part-time studies at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Svitlana explored various career paths, steadily gaining experience across different departments.
After earning her university degree, she briefly worked as a data entry operator in the administrative office before stepping into the role of head of the records management and administration department in 2005. By 2007, she had the opportunity to practice her original field of study, transitioning to the Geology and Development Department as a petroleum geologist.
Svitlana recalls this period as one of the most exciting times in her career. Her duties extended well beyond the office; she and her team frequently visited production sites, analyzed well and field data, and prepared essential documentation and reports.
Following a departmental reorganization, Svitlana continued her geological work within production units before transitioning to a production engineer role in the well workover department. This role demanded more operational focus, constant coordination with workover crews, and frequent field visits.
In February 2026, she shifted focus to a completely new area for her—fleet and transport management. “Departments submit requests for vehicles and specialized machinery, and our team allocates and assigns the transport based on their needs. This is a completely new field for me, so there is still a lot to learn,” Svitlana notes.
Her preferred way to de-stress away from her job is heading to the woods. She enjoys these nature walks with her sister, niece, or the whole family whenever they can find free time. Another passion of hers is growing tomatoes. She discovers new varieties online, purchases the seeds, and cultivates the plants herself.
Svitlana also dedicates part of her personal time to volunteering. Together with her family, she actively supports the military through financial contributions and by weaving camouflage nets whenever possible.
