PJSC “Ukrnafta” received 2.6 thousand tons of additional oil and condensate production by launching a pilot project of a deviation technology to enhance oil recovery at two injection wells.

 Currently, 24 fields of the company are operated with reservoir pressure maintenance. The use of deviation technologies helps to increase oil production.

The pilot project resulted in an increase in oil production from the observation wells from 18 to 21% of oil. This is an additional production of 2,140 tons of oil in 232 days at the first facility and 502 tons of oil in 106 days at the second.

“Two more well operations are planned by the end of the year. Next year, we plan to conduct 28 more”, said Sergii Koretskyi, CEO at UKRNAFTA. — “I am grateful to the Enhanced Oil Recovery Division of the Field Development Department for implementing the technology and supervising operations, and to the Oilfield Services and Transport Department for their technical support”.
