Over the past few days, the russians have cynically attacked UKRNAFTA’s civilian facilities - production units and gas stations that supply fuel to the population in frontline regions. Unfortunately, there have been casualties.
On Sunday, 5 July 2026, two enemy jet UAVs struck a production facility at one of the oil fields in the Sumy region. The strike caused a fire. Fortunately, no one was injured, but equipment was significantly damaged.
On Friday, 3 July 2026, an enemy Shahed UAV struck the entrance to a gas station complex in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Staff and customers were unharmed, but a power line was damaged.
On the afternoon of 2 July 2026, the russians struck a gas station in the Mykolayiv region with a Shahed-type jet UAV. The enemy drone hit the canopy over a fuel dispenser. One person was killed.
Two more people, including an assistant to the gas station operator, were injured. They are currently at the hospital and receiving all necessary medical care. Equipment was also significantly damaged, cars were burned, and the building was destroyed.
On the night of 2 July 2026, the russians launched an attack using three Shahed-type drones against a gas station complex in the Kharkiv region.
Fortunately, no one was injured. However, the gas station building and surface equipment were completely destroyed.
“russia is once again demonstrating that its targets are civilian infrastructure, including that which supports the livelihoods of frontline communities,” said Bohdan Kukura, Chairman of the Board of JSC “Ukrnafta.” “We are restoring damaged facilities wherever possible to ensure fuel supplies reach people where they are needed most, including in frontline territories. This is an important contribution by UKRNAFTA to our country’s energy resilience and security.”
Prior to the recent attacks, UKRNAFTA had already been forced to suspend operations at six gas stations since early 2026 due to russian shelling, hostilities, and a significant deterioration in the security situation.
