In 2023, Ukrnafta successfully completed 4,635 procurements for production, technological and other requirements, totalling UAH 6.24 billion.
In addition, the company has entered in foreign economic agreements. "Indeed, this is a breakthrough for the company, without any exaggeration. In 2023, Ukrnafta entered into a memorandum with The American Petroleum Institute, charting a course towards international standards for production and service, and replacement of outdated Russian, Belarusian and Soviet equipment with the best modern technologies," stated Sergii Koretskyi, CEO at UKRNAFTA.
The company has already secured contracts and framework agreements with world leaders in oil production and oilfield services:
With the US-based Baker Hughes GmbH for the purchase of 34 electric centrifugal pump units; the first batch was delivered on January 4, 2024, with further deliveries planned for February. An order for 309 such units and related equipment has also been agreed, to be delivered in batches during 2024.

In addition, a framework agreement was signed with Weatherford Ukraine LLC to perform works and services and supply equipment for geological exploration, drilling, development, production, and stimulation of wells and fields. As part of the cooperation under this agreement, the company has already provided services for geophysical surveys and casing run at one of the wells, and is expected to supply 2 dosing units for liquid chemicals.
A framework agreement was also signed with Saudi Arabia's Alkhorayef Petroleum Company for the purchase of well equipment, under which the first order for the supply of 50 electric centrifugal pumps and related equipment was agreed in 2024.
Gradually, step by step, Ukrnafta will introduce modern technologies and finally move to the concept of a digital well and a digital field.
