The Security Service of PJSC “UKRNAFTA” reported an unauthorized connection to a gas pipeline in the village of Pasichna, located in the Nadvirna Raion of the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. 

During a routine inspection of the high-pressure gas pipeline stretching from GDB-3 to the Bytkiv-801 well, it was discovered that unidentified individuals had illegally tapped into the pipeline and were siphoning off gas. 

A team of investigators was promptly dispatched to document the illicit activities. Upon the arrival of the National Police, excavation work, leading to the discovery of an unauthorized connection to a high-pressure metal pipe, was undertaken. This connection was equipped with a ball valve and a black polyethylene hose, which was found to be leading to residential buildings. 

The findings were immediately reported to the appropriate divisions of the National Police in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. An investigation to determine the extent of the damages incurred by the company and to identify those responsible for the illegal interference is currently underway.
