Ukrnafta and ORLEN are expanding their strategic partnership in petroleum product supplies to Ukraine and logistics.

 

On the sidelines of the Carpathian Eight Summit, the Ukrainian and Polish state-owned oil companies signed a memorandum aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s energy resilience and diversifying its fuel imports.

 

“UKRNAFTA, Ukraine’s largest gas station network, works constantly to ensure that Ukrainians receive quality fuel at a fair price. When demand rose last winter, the Company stepped up its petroleum product imports. Since the very start of the crisis in the Middle East, our specialists have been working to diversify fuel sources. Signing the memorandum with ORLEN means stable import supplies and meeting all the needs of people in Ukraine,” said Vladyslav Voitenko, Commercial Director of JSC “Ukrnafta”.

 

“The document provides for supplies of petroleum products to Ukraine worth up to USD 500 million, ensuring that the public has access to quality fuel amid the crisis in the Middle East. The potential deployment of road tankers to reinforce Ukrnafta’s logistics capability is also under consideration,” said Bogdan Kukura, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “Ukrnafta”. “Taken together, these steps will significantly strengthen Ukraine’s energy security and ensure fuel supplies for both the public and critical industries.”
