Ukrnafta maintained production in 2021

In 2021, Ukrnafta managed to maintain production performance at the 2020 level.

The company produced 1499 ktonnes of oil and condensate and 1,117 million cubic meters of gas, exceeding the approved production plan by 2.3% and 10.6%, respectively. Average daily production of oil with condensate and natural gas showed steady growth during the year. Liquefied gas production in January-December was 117.7 thousand tonnes, 10.7% higher than planned.

Ukrnafta managed to increase its average daily output by improving operating efficiency while working on the existing well stock: switching to new productive horizons, optimising workovers and maintenance of prospective wells, and replacing critically worn-out equipment. In December, the company completed drilling and commissioned an oil well at the Verkhnomaslovetsky field in the Skole district of Lviv region. Well #103 lived up to expectations - its daily production rate is 29 tonnes of oil.

In 2021, Ukrnafta completed 143 well workovers, put 62 wells out of operation, performed 4 separate coiled tubing operations, 32 coiled tubing operations as part of complex well workover operations, and 5 coiled tubing operations for external customers. In addition, the Oilfield Services Division conducted 8 fracturing operations.  The organisational and technical measures resulted in an additional 199.8 ktonnes of oil and condensate and 131.8 million m3 of natural gas.

In 2021, the company renewed its vehicle fleet. Technical service groups of the company received 46 vehicles: 28 cars, 6 buses, 12 units of special equipment including 4 excavators BAM 2014, 3 oil tanker trucks ACNG-10, 2 crane trucks KS-55727-C-12, a special shift vehicle FPV-44424, a repair shop MAZ-5316F5 and a unit ADPM-12/15.

In addition, Ukrnafta continued to equip Ukraine's only service centre for ESP repair in Pryluki.  In August 2021, the cable section was launched, consisting of 4 new cable repair lines and a test bench with automatic protocols.

Serhii Nasliednikov, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, Executive Vice President Upstream:

“Ukrnafta finished the year 2021 with decent production results. We managed to maintain production of gas and oil and condensate, and to increase production of liquefied gas. Most of our fields are at a late stage of development, so maintaining production in such conditions is not an easy task.  We have proved that we can work in difficult geological conditions, apply complex technologies and choose the most promising projects with the best results”.
