Ukrnafta is among the top 5 innovative companies in Ukraine. The corresponding rating was compiled by the Dilova Stolytsya.

Journalists of the newspaper told about companies that bring the latest solutions to the Ukrainian market, increasing productivity and improving the customer experience. Ukrnafta is among them. In particular, the rating noted the use of AI and machine learning by the Ukrnafta to optimize the processes of geological exploration and oil and gas production. The new department – the Department of Innovative Technologies of the Research and Design Institute is responsible for integrating AI into production in the Company.

At the same time, the Company combines new technologies with huge amounts of historical data (for more than 65 years of operational activity), on which the neural networks are trained. This helps to analyze geological and industrial data more effectively and make informed decisions regarding the development of deposits.

These and other innovative technologies have already contributed to the production of thousands of additional tons of oil and condensate.

Ukrnafta also plans to create digital copies (counterparts) of deposits, which will be a breakthrough in the industry. This will allow to integrate the digital models directly into planning, management, and rapid response processes.
