Ukrnafta has been granted a new special permit from the Ukrainian Geological Survey, marking the first such permit the company has received in the past 14 years.
This permit has led to a significant increase in Ukrnafta’s total production reserves, adding 1 billion cubic meters of gas and one hundred thousand tons of oil.
The permit pertains to a 56.5-square-kilometer processing area located in northeastern Ukraine.
The permit was sold by another state company, a subsidiary of PrJSC "NJSC "Nadra Ukrayny", “Chernihivnaftogazgeologiya”.
Sergii Koretskyi, CEO at UKRNAFTA, expressed his gratitude to the company’s employees who have been instrumental in discovering new deposits and increasing hydrocarbon reserves. He stated, “The new license will result in an increase in total reserves of 1.01 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 100,000 tons of oil for Ukrnafta.”
