Ukraine’s Largest Gas Station Network, UKRNAFTA, Completes Shell Rebranding: Fuel and Non-Fuel Sales Increase

Ukraine’s largest gas station network, UKRNAFTA, has completed the rebranding of gas stations previously operating under the Shell brand. These stations have now been fully integrated into the state-owned company’s network, marking an important milestone for the business and the development of its retail infrastructure.

The stations underwent a comprehensive rebranding, including interior and exterior design, visual identity, retail spaces, and zoning. All stations were transitioned to unified UKRNAFTA standards — planograms, product display, service processes, and category management. The customer journey was standardised, coffee and food zones were relaunched, and service standards were fully aligned.

Today, all 663 UKRNAFTA gas stations operate as a single operational system — the largest gas station and retail network in Ukraine.

The company has significantly strengthened its presence along key highways, in Kyiv, and in strategically important regions. Stations transformed from Shell to UKRNAFTA are already demonstrating growth in fuel sales as well as a substantial increase in non-fuel categories, including food, coffee, and non-food products.

UKRNAFTA is currently the fastest-growing gas station network in the country, already ranking among the top three by fuel sales and steadily moving toward market leadership.

Full standardisation has made the retail segment more structured and predictable in terms of both operations and financial performance.

The completion of the Shell rebranding is another important step in building a modern, efficient, and competitive UKRNAFTA network.
