The security service of Ukrnafta PJSC detected illegal interference with a pipeline in Poltava region. The tie-in was located in a forest near a field road about 1 km from the village of Kruhlyk, Myrhorod district.

A ball valve and a metal pipe were illegally welded into the inhibitor pipe of one of the gas wells. There are no traces of active production, as the well is undergoing a workover and has been out of production for about a month.

The illegal tie-in has been eliminated. A police investigative team arrived at the scene, recorded the interference, and launched an investigation. Measures are currently being taken to calculate the losses and identify the persons involved in the crime.

Ukrnafta PJSC continues to protect the company's infrastructure and resources and cooperates with law enforcement agencies to prevent similar incidents.
