PJSC Ukrnafta Plans to Drill 160 Wells and Side Wells Over Three Years

 On March 20-21, 2024, the team from Ukrnafta PJSC participated in the inaugural International Green Oil and Gas Forum titled “Interaction of Government, Territorial Communities, Business, and Science” held in Poltava.
 
A representative from the company presented a report outlining the Drilling Department of Ukrnafta PJSC’s plans for 2024-2026, with a focus on reducing environmental impact. Daniil Agafonov, Director of Drilling Department, announced, “By 2027, Ukrnafta aims to drill and operationalize a total of 160 new wells and BSA (side well drilling).”
 
The company plans to implement new technologies and equipment from leading global companies in its drilling activities. Starting in 2024, Ukrnafta PJSC has committed to constructing new wells using cisternless drilling, a move that will mitigate the potential negative impact on the environment.
 
The forum was organized by the Poltava Regional State Administration and hosted at the Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic National University.
