PJSC Ukrnafta has acquired a special permit for an oil and gas field in Ivano-Frankivsk region for 20 years. 

This is the first special permit in the company's history to be obtained through an auction by the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine. The company won the auction with a bid of UAH 6.5 million. 

The new area of about 9 square kilometers is located between two of Ukrnafta's existing fields, which ensures the availability of the necessary infrastructure for hydrocarbon production. 

The area is expected to contain promising oil, gas and condensate reserves, and the density of undiscovered resources is 30 to 50 thousand tons of hydrocarbons per square kilometer. 

The company's primary plans include a set of geophysical and industrial geological surveys to study the potential of the new area in detail. 

The acquisition of this special permit will help to expand Ukrnafta's resource base and stimulate production development. Working for Ukraine's energy sustainability!
