The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) has authorized PJSC Ukrnafta to manage shares in the authorized capital of Tatneft Group assets, including Poltava-Capital LLC, Kharkiv-Capital LLC, and Tatneft-AZS-Ukraine LLC. This approval ensures that Ukrnafta’s shareholding in the supreme management body exceeds 50%.
On August 15, 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine issued Resolution No. 716-r, transferring assets seized in criminal proceedings to Ukrnafta.
These assets include over 110 facilities, such as gas stations, oil depots, and other commercial premises, located in the Poltava and Kharkiv regions.
Unfortunately, preliminary visual inspections revealed that most of these facilities are in extremely poor condition and are beyond repair or restoration.
Ukrnafta will need to evaluate each case individually to determine the required investment and the expected return timeline.
Currently, the company and the Asset Recovery and Management Agency are finalizing the asset management agreement.
