Ukrnafta drilled and put into production the deepest well in the last 8 years. The actual depth of the facility is 4,520 meters. 

After perforating the horizon in the interval of 4481.5-4472.5 meters, a gushing inflow of oil and gas was obtained. 

"As of November 3, the oil flow rate was 65 tons per day and the gas flow rate was 21.5 thousand cubic meters per day," said Sergii Koretskyi, CEO at UKRNAFTA. - "I am grateful to the partners of Energofinance LLC for their work, and to the Geology and Field Development Department of the Research and Design Institute and the Drilling Department of Ukrnafta PJSC for their support and excellent results." 

The well was planned as an exploration well, with the goal of discovering deposits of Visean sediments. 

Construction was completed ahead of schedule despite the considerable depth, difficult geological conditions and wartime challenges. 

The works were performed on a turnkey basis by an external contractor, Energofinans LLC, the winner of the bidding on the state Prozorro platform. This is the first of two wells at this field to be drilled by this contractor.
