The PJSC MC Ukrnaftoburinnya under the management of the PJSC Ukrnafta received UAH 1.19 billion in net profit in 2024. UAH 1.074 billion of them was allocated to the state budget.
"In August 2024, the Ukrnaftoburinniaresumed operations at the Sakhalin field in the Kharkiv region. The company's net profit for 2024 amounted to UAH 1.19 billion. Today, UAH 1.074 billion has been paid to the state budget − 90% of its net profit. The company continues to produce natural gas, which is critically necessary for the country," − said Acting Director of the PJSC Ukrnafta Yurii Tkachuk.
The ARMA Head Olena Duma noted: "We show that the seized asset can work for the State today. The Sakhalin field is an example of how effective management and a clear legal position provide a specific result for the economy in war conditions. And this is not the limit of our capabilities."
In July 2024, the State Budget of Ukraine received a tranche of UAH 747.7 million generated by the management of the Ukrnaftoburinnya company.
It is worth reminding that that the corporate rights of the PJSC MC Ukrnaftoburinnya were transferred to the management of the PJSC Ukrnafta by the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine - the transfer and acceptance certificate of assets was signed in July 2023. In December 2023, the court suspended the gas production at the Sakhalin field (located at the territory of Bohodukhiv district of Kharkiv region). In August 2024, the Company resumed its work and has been working on increasing its performance ever since.
