Ukrnafta’s specialists have developed and introduced in-house software suite, WellWorkoverSupervisor, to plan and manage well workovers.

This solution was created in-house based on the practical experience of our specialists, considering the best international practices.

Workovers are one of the most complex operations. Working with equipment at depths of several thousand metres requires precise engineering calculations, thorough preparation, and strict adherence to safety requirements.

Previously, the Company did not have a single standardised software for such calculations. Some of the work was performed manually or using outdated software, which took more time and increased the risk of errors.

Engineers from the Well Workover Supervision Unit of the Production and Technology Department have developed software product that meets the Company’s actual production needs.

WellWorkoverSupervisor includes over 30 specialised modules and allows:

∙ automating key technical calculations

∙⁠⁠ building graphs and engineering diagrams

∙⁠⁠ generating ready-to-use PDF reports

∙⁠ using the built-in reference guide for pipes, threaded connections, and equipment.

In terms of functionality, the suite is on par with expensive foreign counterparts.
