Security officers from the Chernihiv Oilfield District, in collaboration with Talalayivka Oil and Gas Production Shop employees, discovered an unauthorized tie-in inspecting wells that had been inactive for an extended period. It was located on the discharge line of the Matlakhy well #19 in Sumy region, consisting of a 5 cm high pipe with a 2 inch diameter ball valve attached to it.
The discovery was reported to the local National Police department, and subsequent action led to the removal of the unauthorized interference.
The extent of damages caused to the company and those responsible for the illegal tampering is currently under investigation.
