For a longer well life: Ukrnafta installed 85 automatic chemicals dosing systems

Ukrnafta continues to introduce advanced technologies. In 2025, the Company installed 86 automatic liquid chemicals dosing systems at its production facilities.

Modern systems allow using a wide range of high-quality chemicals and reducing their consumption. This ensures more effective corrosion and scale protection of downhole equipment, and improves oil dilution processes.

The systems are equipped with remote control, online monitoring of pumping equipment, and remote well pressure control.

Some of the systems operate on autonomous solar power, which allows their operation even during power outages caused by attacks on the power grid.

Unlike the previous method, which involved the periodic injection of the chemicals at the wellhead, the new technology ensures the continuous injection through a capillary tube directly to the bottom of the well.

"The use of such systems allows extending the time between workovers in the wells equipped with artificial lift, using ESPs and deep rod pumps. This, in turn, reduces hydrocarbon losses caused by downtime and allows workover crews to be more effectively engaged in other operations," said Bogdan Kukura, Chairman of the Board of JSC "Ukrnafta."

In 2026, the Company plans to continue introducing this technology and install another 21 automatic systems.
