UKRNAFTA PJSC became one of the first partners of the energy independence project at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. This initiative aims to ensure the stable operation of the university and the continuity of the learning process even in the event of widespread power outages.

The first phase of implementation is planned for completion in February 2024, and by spring 2025, 75% of the academy’s buildings will be fully energy-independent, thanks to the installation of alternative energy sources, solar panels, battery storage, and generators.

We believe that such projects contribute to strengthening the country’s resilience to the challenges of war and create new opportunities for youth,” said Olena Artazey, Deputy Director of Personnel at UKRNAFTA.
