UKRNAFTA opened two new “Veteran Care Spaces” in Zhytomyr region

UKRNAFTA PJSC, in cooperation with the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and the “Come Back Alive” Charitable Foundation, opened two more “Veteran Care Spaces” in Zhytomyr and Berdychiv.

From now on, veterans and active service members will be able to receive quality psychological, legal, and social support, as well as employment consultations in comfortable, barrier-free conditions. The Berdychiv center became the largest in the region — 100 sq. m, equipped with wide passageways, gentle ramps, clear navigation, and accessible restrooms.

In Zhytomyr region, UKRNAFTA’s investment in launching these spaces amounted to over 2.2 million UAH, while the overall budget of the program across five regions of Ukraine exceeds 8 million UAH. Previously, similar centers were launched in Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, and Chernihiv regions.

The new “Veteran Care Spaces” aim to improve access to assistance for those returning from military service and facilitate their successful reintegration into civilian life.

Supporting veterans is our ongoing responsibility and contribution to their comfortable return to civilian life. In 2023–2024, the company allocated approximately 2.5 billion UAH to support the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The company also systematically supports veterans, including through the corporate program “Side by Side,” which provides legal, psychological, material assistance, and employment for military personnel.
