Ukrnafta ranked among Ukraine’s top 5 taxpayers in the first half of the year, according to the State Fiscal Service.
Ukrnafta continue to increase the tax payments to the central and local budgets. Between January and July 2017, the company paid UAH 6.5 bln in taxes, up by UAH 2.4 bln year-on-year. In July, the company paid UAH 816.3 bln.
Ukrnafta continues to meet its current tax obligations in full, while the amount of the historic tax debt has not increased since the beginning of the year. As of 30 June 2017, the size of the historic tax debt stood at UAH 13.2 bln.
In May, Ukrnafta sent a proposal to the State Fiscal Service to restructure and repay the tax debt within 3 years using only the resources from operational activities of the company. According to the fiscal service, the company’s proposal is under review at the Ministry of Finance.
