On December 6, the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources extended 23 production licences of Ukrnafta. Besides 11 licences that have expired in 2018, the regulator also extended 9 company’s licenses, expiring in 2019, as well as three licences of 2013-2014.
Due to the diligent and thorough work of Ukrnafta’s team the company succeeded to extend production licences for Prokopenkivske, Vyhoda-Vytvytske, Monastyryshchenske, Rosilnyanske, Turutynske, Mykolayivske, Lukvynske, Dovbushansko-Bystrytske, Pasichnyanske, Andriyashivske, Oriv-Ulychnyanske, Dolynske, Strutynske, Spaske, Shchurivske, Boryslavske, Perekopivske, Malosorochynske, Sahaydatske, Rozhnyativske, Trostyanetske, Voloshkivske and Taniavske fields for 20 years.
In total, this year 27 licences of Ukrnafta are expiring. Thus, the company is waiting for extending 16 licences more. In 2019 there are 22 licences expiring in total, while nine of them it has got already extended.
Currently, Ukrnafta has 85 valid licences for production and one valid licence for geological exploration. Despite the delay in licences extension, this year the company has found the legal solution of the problem and hasn’t stopped production in any of its fields.
