Ukrnafta has acquired 3D seismic on an area of 600 square kilometres

In 2024, Ukrnafta acquired 3D seismic on a technological area of 600 square kilometres. These are eight fields and areas of the Company.

The Company last performed such operations over ten years ago.

Field 3D seismic acquisition was conducted in difficult conditions. The crews worked all seasons, on high ground, in river lowlands, and wetlands. The project was implemented in difficult mountainous areas. This was the first use of a wireless data acquisition system in Ukraine.

"All data acquired will form the basis for digital geological models of the fields, and AI-based solutions. The field digital models will allow clearly understanding where the resource are and more accurately planning new exploration and appraisal drilling," -Director of PJSC "Ukrnafta" Sergii Koretskyi noted. "I am grateful to the employees of the Geological Department for good results."

In 2025, Ukrnafta's team plans to survey an area of at least 800 square kilometres.
