Ukrnafta Employees Created Well-repair Platforms

Ukrnafta employees have independently designed, engineered, and built platforms with removable base supports for comprehensive well repairs.

The maximum load capacity on the rotor table the platform can withstand is 60 tons, which is sufficient for accommodating all the necessary equipment, even with a margin.

This design enables providing convenient and safe working conditions for employees and reducing the costs associated with hoisting operations during repairs.

The order for the Well Workovers Workshop of “Ukrnafta Burinya“ was manufactured at the production base of the Oilfield Services of PJSC “Ukrnafta” in Dolyna.

Andrii Nahorniak, an engineer in the Engineering Design Department of the Oilfield Services, and Petro Skalovskyi, a master in complex of Well Workovers, worked together to ensure that all technical and technological requirements were considered during the design process, taking into account the specific conditions of the well use and transportation.

The production base teams in Dolyna, led by masters Oleh Stefanyshyn, Myroslav Novak, and Ivan Dulysh, worked on the project for several months. Special mention should go to welders Vasyl Turchyn and Roman Melnyk, who demonstrated their skills and dedication.

Vladimir Bik, the Head of the Production Base in Dolyna, handed over the product documentation to Vasyl Melnyk, Head of the Well Workovers Workshop.

Two platforms for capital repairs have already been manufactured, and there are plans to produce two similar platforms for routine well maintenance this year.
