Veteran support is one of “Ukrnafta's” strategic priorities. The company is developing a comprehensive program to assist veterans and military personnel, with a focus on long-term support.

At the Veterans Reintegration Conference, Sergii Koretskyi, Director of Ukrnafta PJSC, shared the company’s practical experience in reintegrating defenders into the workforce.

“In total, the company has donated nearly UAH 3 billion to the military. These funds were used for weapons, armored vehicles, drones, pickup trucks, and other essential equipment,” said Sergii Koretskyi. “Almost 1,000 of “Ukrnafta’s” 20,000 employees have been mobilized. Unfortunately, 43 colleagues lost their lives—eternal memory and honor to the Heroes. Over 500 veterans have returned to work. This reflects the extensive experience the company has in this area. We also have the capacity and a sincere desire to help. It is vital that businesses do everything possible to ensure our defenders feel comfortable in the workplace. I am grateful to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, and Korn Ferry for addressing this crucial issue. I also thank my colleagues who are working to create a space that is adapted for both female and male veterans.”

The guiding principle of Ukrnafta is to support veterans and military personnel at every stage. Salaries are paid as a default, and the company provides care for mobilized colleagues and their families, offering legal, psychological, and rehabilitation support. It also assists the units it sponsors, essentially serving as a patronage service.

Ukrnafta offers veterans the opportunity to undergo retraining if needed.

Additionally, for veteran-owned businesses, the company provides the chance to be featured in the Ukrnafta network, the largest mono-branded network of filling stations in Ukraine.
