PJSC “Ukrnafta” has started drilling a new exploration well in western Ukraine.
The work is carried out with the company's own rig, which is operated by SU “Ukrnafta Burinnia”.
The design depth is 2,754 meters. The new well is expected to discover productive menilite deposits.
The projected initial flow rate is expected at 16 tonnes per day.
As a reminder, PJSC “Ukrnafta” is preparing to drill two oil wells in the East, which will produce more than 100 tonnes of oil per day. Design depths of both are about 4.5 kilometers.
