The Chairman of PJSC Ukrnafta Mark Rollins has started the reformation process of the company's HR policy. On October 8 Mark Rollins imposed an order to suspend recruitment of new employees except in exceptional circumstances. "Compared to other similar companies, Ukrnafta has not been involved in significant restructuring or review of the number of employees for the last five years. However, the optimization of personnel and how they are distributed helps to reduce costs of doing the business. In a low oil price environment it is essential to be as cost effective as possible" — explained Mr. Rollins.
During the last couple of weeks proposals from recruiting agencies were requested to assist in the employment process for strategically important positions. In the nearest future PJSC Ukrnafta is planning to sign a contract with the international executive search firm Odgers Berndtson, which in Ukraine is represented by the agency Talent Advisors.
