A year has passed since the launch of the initiative of PJSC “Ukrnafta” and “Space of Opportunities”, which has proven that even in the most remote communities it is possible to provide reliable support for the military, veterans and their families.
Since December last year, mobile teams that consist of a psychologist, a lawyer, and a case manager have done a lot of work: they have traveled more than 74,600 kilometers and visited 193 communities. Due to their work, the following were provided:
- 2244 legal consultations,
- 2008 sessions of psychological assistance,
- 1703 social services.
Legal issues remain the most frequently asked questions. These include: obtaining the status of a combat veteran status, passing the Military Medical Commission and the Medical and Social Expert Commission, applying for payments and benefits, and consulting on starting a business.
Special attention is paid to psychological support. It is most often sought by families of military personnel, veterans, and those who have lost loved ones or are waiting for news from missing persons.
Helping the community to develop a memorial complex in Odesa region, organizing a wedding in Rivne region, delivering humanitarian aid to the frontline regions of Mykolaiv region, and transporting people with disabilities in Chernihiv region are just some of the unusual requests to the mobile teams that were fulfilled this year.
As a reminder, PJSC “Ukrnafta” purchased and handed over 8 Renault Duster SUVs, which helped to create mobile teams in Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky, Sumy, Chernihiv and Rivne regions.
