Ukrnafta’s Supervisory Board appoints 3 new members of Executive Board

Today at the meeting of the Supervisory Board, 3 new members of Ukrnafta’s Executive Board were appointed. It’s the another step of the Uknafta’s Executive Board renewal, as it was promised  by the company’s Chairman of the Executive Board Mark Rollins, when he assumed office back in September 2015.

The position of Executive Vice President for Social & Sustainability was taken by Genadiy Radchenko who has been working for Nestle Ukraine as Head of Corporate Affairs and Corporate Communications, Member of the Board of Directors in Ukraine and Moldova and Member of the Supervisory Board in Ukraine. Mr. Radchenko will be responsible for PR, external and internal communications, government relations, social programs and policy related to health, safety and environment.

Robert Whalley, a UK citizen, is the new Executive Vice President for Technology & Services. For over 20 year he held senior positions in Schlumberger, the world’s leading oilfield services. In the last few years Robert Walley worked as an independent consultant and was involved in the restructuring services business in Russia. He has undergone extensive management and technical training, including leadership training at Harvard Business School, and advanced financial management at IMD.

It’s worth mentioning that previously approved Executive Vice President Upstream Chris Cox, has been replaced by Mavrily Kalugin on this position. Mr. Kalugin, a USA citizen, has over 20 years of experience in oil and gas production, having held key senior positions in such companies as Petrofac, Cairn Energy, BP in  Russia, India, Romania and other countries. He holds Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Idaho.

“I wholeheartedly congratulate new members on the assignments. I’m sure that they are ready for all the hard work and challenges ahead. Our business is facing difficult times, considering world oil prices and we have an extensive program of reform to execute over the coming months”, said Mark Rollins, Ukrnafta’s Executive Chairman.

As soon as new members get proper documents, they will take up their duties.

Previously, on 8 December 2015, the Supervisory Board of Ukrnafta approved candidates for CFO, Executive Vice President Upstream and Executive Vice President Corporate Development & Strategy.
