With regards to information spread by the State Fiscal Service in the media in February of this year about Ukrnafta allegedly selling fuel of poor quality, the company makes the following statement.
In the District Administrative Court of Kyiv, the company challenged the application of penalty sanctions for the sale of ostensibly poor quality diesel fuel.
At the request of Ukrnafta PJSC, an independent expert organisation (Test Centre for Fuels and Lubricants) conducted an arbitration analysis of the company’s diesel fuel. The analysis findings confirmed the fuel’s full compliance with DSTU. Moreover, the court is now considering the petition of Ukrnafta PJSC on appointing legal expertise of the quality of diesel fuel collected samples.
Meanwhile, in the course of preparation for the materials consideration in court, specialists of Ukrnafta PJSC established the facts that proved the grounds for inspection by Derzhspozhyvinspektsiya were falsified, and the inspection findings were obtained in violation of the law. The person, who has allegedly complained to Derzhspozhyvinspektsiya about the quality of fuel sold by Ukrnafta PJSC, categorically denied her involvement in signing and mailing of such a complaint, “…I have never written or signed this statement, the style of information structuring and punctuation errors are not typical of me…”, the mentioned person declared to the court and Ukrnafta PJSC representatives.
Besides, Ukrnafta has already provided the evidence to the court proving the fact that Specialised Laboratory for Inspection and Examination of Fuels and Lubricants has been operating illegally for a long time. It turns out that this lab uses the Accreditation Certificate (issued on 15 Dec 2008 and prolonged until 13 May 2015), which was issued to another legal entity – Specialised Laboratory for Inspection and Examination of the Ministry of Incomes and Fees, whose activity was suspended and the legal entity was liquidated on 22 Oct 2015. Complaint of Ukrnafta PJSC filed to the National Accreditation Agency has become the basis for suspension of the mentioned Certificate until completion of the complaint investigation.
Taking the above into consideration, Ukrnafta PJSC emphasises to its consumers and the public that the information spread about the results of the mentioned inspection conducted by Derzhspozhyvinspektsiya cannot be seen as reliable.
