In the Prykarpattia region, the security team of PJSC Ukrnafta has successfully detected and eliminated an unauthorized connection to the high-pressure gas pipeline “ZU Liubizhna - PG 573 - GU Pasichna” in the Nadvirna Raion of the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.
 
The illicit operation involved unidentified individuals who had tapped into the pipeline, extracting gas via a built-in ball valve and a makeshift separator that separated gas from oil products. A pipe used for transporting the gas towards a local village was also uncovered.
 
This incident was promptly reported to the Nadvirna department of the National Police in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.
 
Ukrnafta is currently in the process of assessing the damages incurred due to this unauthorized activity. In the meantime, the National Police is actively collaborating with the company to identify the perpetrators behind this illegal operation.
