Ukrnafta has installed two booster compressor stations in the West and East of Ukraine and attained additional 75 thousand cubic meters of gas per day.
These booster compressor stations in Ukrnafta's equipment fleet are responsible for pumping natural gas from fields to pipelines. These pipelines then deliver the resource to gas pre-treatment facilities, followed by transportation to gas pipelines and underground storage facilities.
"The capacity of the previously installed compressors was insufficient to transfer the entire required volume. And the deployment of additional BOPs enabled us to increase production," said Sergii Koretskyi, CEO at UKRNAFTA. - "I am grateful to the company's employees for consistently setting ambitious goals, being prepared for engineering challenges and achieving them!
Both stations are under lease, and the lease service was purchased through an open tender on the state-owned Prozorro platform.
The first unit in the East pumps an additional 15 thousand cubic meters of gas and 1.6 tons of condensate per day. It was offloaded by two huge truck cranes due to its considerable weight.
The second one, in the West, allowed to achieve additional production of 60 thousand cubic meters per day. The equipment had to be transported through mountainous terrain at an altitude of 1080 meters above sea level. However, Ukrnafta's specialists successfully tackled the challenging task and achieved excellent results.
