UKRNAFTA has undergone a major transformation in almost three years of state management. While in 2022 there were only a few dozen stations with stores in the network, in 2025 visitors will find around 400 fully-fledged markets. The rest of the petrol stations have retail outlets with basic goods. Vasyl Bikus, Director of the Department for Petrol Station Network Operations Management, spoke about the development of UKRNAFTA during the PROkachay AZS 2025 Exhibition and Conference.
Hundreds of kiosks that simply sold fuel have now been modernised and turned into modern petrol stations with coffee, street food, shops and backup power supplies.
"During this time, we have undergone a transformation from kiosks to comfortable petrol stations. We have upgraded the infrastructure, changed the exterior and interior of the stations. Most importantly, we have developed our services. Now, at each of the 663 UKRNAFTA petrol stations, you fill up with high-quality fuel and enjoy a cup of aromatic coffee or a snack," said Vasyl Bikus.
The rebranding of the Shell petrol station network is ongoing. They will soon be operating under the UKRNAFTA brand, with a new design, service and quality that meet the Company's uniform standards.
UKRNAFTA is the largest network in Ukraine selling certified AdBlue at 300 petrol stations.
The Company is actively developing a network of charging stations for electric vehicles and has provided backup power supplies at all 663 petrol stations, which can now operate even in a power outage.
360 UKRNAFTA petrol stations operate as ‘points of invincibility’ with additional generators installed. Thus, the customers can charge their gadgets, warm up, have hot coffee or tea, and a snack.
