PJSC Ukrnafta helped to purchase 100 grenade launchers for the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade, which is defending Ukraine in the East.

The Company paid all the costs of the weapons in full.

CEO at UKRNAFTA, Sergii Koretskyi, announced this on his official Facebook page.

These are single-shot grenade launchers developed by the Swiss company Brügger & Thomet, manufactured in Ukraine and designed to fire high-explosive fragmentation, concussion, hollow-charge or other combat grenades to destroy enemy manpower and firepower at a distance of 50 to 400 m.

Ukrnafta has already allocated UAH 700 million in material aid to the Ukrainian Defence Forces. These funds were used to purchase armoured vehicles, UAVs, pick-up trucks and meet other needs of military units. The Company plans to provide another UAH 800 million by the end of the year.

The total amount allocated for assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2023 will amount to UAH 1.5 billion.
