UKRNAFTA PJSC has joined the initiative of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, supporting the creation of "Veteran Care Space" cabinets in healthcare facilities. The first such spaces were opened in the Khmelnytskyi region.
The total project budget funded by UKRNAFTA amounts to 8.3 million UAH, with more than 1.1 million UAH allocated to equip the first two cabinets. A total of 10 spaces will be created in 5 regions of Ukraine as part of the initiative.

The goal of the project is to provide comprehensive support to veterans undergoing treatment and rehabilitation. The cabinets will be staffed with lawyers, psychologists, social workers, employment specialists, and other professionals who will assist veterans.

“We believe it’s crucial to support veterans and military personnel not only at the front but also after they return home. The opening of 'Veteran Care Spaces' is another step in creating appropriate conditions for the rehabilitation and social adaptation of our defenders. We understand veterans’ needs well, as nearly a thousand of our colleagues are currently serving in the Defense Forces, and about 500 veterans already work at our company. We are confident that comprehensive support, from material and legal assistance to psychological care, helps veterans return to peaceful life more swiftly and easily,” said Serhii Fedorenko, Deputy Director for Commercial Affairs at PJSC “UKRNAFTA”.

The project is being implemented with the support of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration and the “Come Back Alive” fund, which is equipping the cabinets with furniture, office equipment, and adapting them to accessibility standards.

UKRNAFTA actively supports defenders, contributing over 2.5 billion UAH in 2023-2024 to support the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The company also provides ongoing assistance to veterans through its “Shoulder to Shoulder” corporate program, which offers legal, psychological, material assistance, and job placement for military personnel.
