Ukrnafta, under state control, has already earned about UAH 40 billion in net profit and increased natural gas production by 7% in 2024 compared to the previous year.
This was announced by Sergii Koretskyi, CEO at UKRNAFTA, on the sidelines of the conference "Supplier Day for State-Owned Oil and Gas Enterprises: Plans for 2025", organized by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and Naftogaz of Ukraine.
"Ukrnafta with its new management has already earned about UAH 40 billion in net profit," said Sergii Koretskyi, "In 2024, we also expect an increase of up to 7% in gas. Unfortunately, the figure for oil is not as impressive: production is significantly affected by power outages, and our record loss is 25% of daily production. Despite this, the results of last 9 months and the forecast for the next 3 months show that there will be an increase in oil. We also plan to increase production in 2025."
In 2023, the company grew by 6% in gas and 3% in oil compared to 2022.
