Ukrainian Oil at Expo 2025: State-Owned Ukrnafta Showcased It in Japan

Ukrnafta, Ukraine’s largest state-owned oil company, represented the country at Expo 2025, currently underway in Osaka, Japan. The company is participating as a partner of the “Value-Based Economy” pavilion.

A key exhibit is a container of crude oil extracted in Ukraine during the full-scale russian invasion.

“This showcase represents the extraordinary strength and determination of Ukraine's energy sector, sustained by more than 20,000 dedicated Ukrnafta professionals working across 22 regions – including those in proximity to the frontline—who tirelessly ensure our nation's energy security every day,” explained Sergii Koretskyi, CEO of Ukrnafta.

Participating in this globally renowned exhibition –  a historical symbol of industrial innovation and progress since the 19th century –  Ukrnafta is highlighting its remarkable corporate transformation and steadfast commitment to fostering transparent collaboration with international partners.
