Ukrnafta is moving according to its plans: drilling wells and attracting international partners.
This was announced by Sergii Koretskyi, CEO at UKRNAFTA, on the sidelines of the VII Kyiv Oil and Gas Conference at the Newfolk NEC.
"We have already drilled or commissioned 7 wells. Another two are being prepared. That is, as promised, 9 new oil wells in 2023 and even more ambitious plans for 2024," said Sergii Koretskyi.
Representatives of Ukrnafta participated in international professional events of the extractive industry. The company has already signed non-disclosure agreements with Canadian and American companies interested in working in Ukrainian fields.
"The USA and Canada are the cradle of oil production. We need international experience, and we are working to get it," the Ukrnafta CEO emphasized.
According to him, Ukrnafta has supported, supports, and will continue to support professional events. The company also supports educational and scientific conferences in the industry.
"Since there is a shortage of specialists, the largest oil company should improve education, attract young specialists, and contribute to the development of the professional environment," explains Sergii Koretskyi.
