Chairman of PJSC Ukrnafta Mark Rollins held a strategic meeting with the First Deputy Chairman of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine — Andriy Parubiy. Their attention was drawn to possibilities of collaboration and efforts coordination concerning the improvement of legislation. Mark Rollins expressed appreciation of active lobbying of anticorruption laws in the Parliament and also informed that transparency and openness was the aim of the new Management of Ukrnafta. “It is the only chance to make the work of the company efficient and profitable”, — added Mark Rollins.

Mr. Rollins believes that to successfully develop oil industry in Ukraine some changes of legislation and tax policy corrections should be provided. This issue is of high importance in terms the fall world prices on oil. “In given situation Ukrnafta will be able to survive only within next 2-3 years”, — said Mark Rollins.

Chairman of PJSC Ukrnafta asked Andriy Parubiy for personal political control of legislation related to the development of oil industry in Ukraine, as in the future both the state and private shareholders will be in win-win position.
