Ukrnafta begins summer wellness campaign for children

Ukrnafta pays special attention to the wellbeing of its employees’ children, providing for their recreation during holidays and conducts a comprehensive healthy summer campaign. The company has recently completed preparing its children’s health and leisure facilities to the summer season. In particular, the company’s employees have an opportunity to send their children to four summer camps in various regions of Ukraine.

One of these camps belonging to Ukrnafta is a health and leisure complex “Druzhba” located in Ivano-Frankivsk region in the beautiful Carpathian woods. The first session of the camp officially started on May 29, when almost three hundred children arrived, half of them being the children of the company’s employees.

It was back in 1985, when the camp welcomed its little guests for the first time, since then, 45 000 boys and girls improved their wellbeing there. Today, “Druzhba” camp has everything a child would need to have fun and get healthier, namely: swimming pool, football stadium, modern gym, fitness centre and billiard facilities, library and a computer room. During the session, children will be engaged with various competitions and games. The camp pays special attention to children’s development as well. In addition to traditional entertainments, the camp scheduled tours to the Rocks of Dovbush, water park in Ivano-Frankivsk and other places of interest. The children will have an opportunity not only to relax but also to become healthier during the camp session: they will be able to enjoy various therapeutic and prevention procedures, including phyto and aromatherapy, wellness massages, and a salt cave.

By results of the state certification in 2010, “Druzhba” camp was awarded the highest category and the first place among similar institutions in Ivano-Frankivsk region, and in August 2015 it received the highest category once again and was recognised as the best in the region.

It’s an important part of Ukrnafta’s social policy to provide for a proper summer recreation program for the kids of its employees. It’s worth noting, that the company’s employees pay only one tenth of the full price for the travel voucher, while the main financial burden falls on the social budget of the enterprise – the company pays the remaining 90% of the price.
